The light installation Father consists of a black monolithic surface placed in the corner of a room.

On the ground before it, an illuminated structure traces the form of a bell wheel, bathing the room in blue neon light. Once every hour, the sound of a bell fills the space - a single tone that marks time and interrupts contemplation.

The black surface functions as a dark mirror: it reflects the viewer back to themselves, but only as a shadow.
